Sad news from a cafe in downtown Anchorage. Moose A’La Mode has suddenly closed.

Your Alaska Link stopped by the coffee shop at 4th and K Street and found the place closed and gutted.

The business announced the closure Monday on social media, citing challenges of the pandemic.

The team with Moose A’La Mode also noted quote:

“The changing dynamics of our neighborhood have created challenges that we can no longer navigate safely or effectively.”
