Police have closed a busy roadway in Brampton following a two-vehicle crash late Friday afternoon that sent people to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Peel Regional Police said in a social media post that all northbound and southbound lanes on Kennedy Road are closed from Kenpark Avenue to Mayfield Road.
Officials did not specify how many individuals involved in the collision were among those transported to the hospital.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes for the time being.
