Road closure: 2 people seriously injured after motorcycle crash closes intersection in Mississauga [Video]

A motorcycle driver and passenger were taken to hospital—one with serious injuries and the other with unknown injuries—after crashing at a busy Mississauga intersection early this morning.

Peel Regional Police reported the collision in a social media post shortly after 5 a.m., noting that two men were transported to the hospital following the crash at Queensway East and Hensall Street.

The passenger sustained serious leg injuries, though both men are reported to be in stable condition.

In addition, police say they are investigating the driver for possible impaired driving.

Road closures remain in effect as the investigation continues and motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
