Metas AI Updates and New Smart Glasses [Video]

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) -The next generation of Meta technology has been announced. On Wednesday, the company updated its VR headset and Ray Ban smart glasses, plus it’s making big moves in AI.

Meta is out to prove that it’s not just about social media anymore.

The big surprise was Orion, a prototype for super-advanced AR glasses. They’re supposed to be lightweight, wireless, and can even read brain signals. Pretty wild, right?

“The technical challenges to make them are insane,” Zuckerberg told a crowd of developers and journalists at Meta’s Menlo Park, California, headquarters.

Celebrity voices are coming to Meta’s AI, so you can chat with it like you’re talking to actor John Cena, Keegan Michael Key, or Awkwafina. The actors wont actually be on the line rather they are helping to train the chatbot to replicate their voices.

And get this – influencers can now make AI versions of themselves to interact with fans.
