The Market Street Apartments are one of the apartment buildings being created to promote more affordable housing options to Evansville residents.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Market Street Apartments are one of the apartment buildings meant for affordable housing, an initiative Mayor Stephanie Terry has been trying to push since she took office.

The Market Street Apartments are one of the new affordable housing developments coming to the area.

Toby Potter, the CEO of Global Integrity Investments, says, “When we talk about affordable housing you think oh kind of old, kind of run down. This is a brand new complex this is got the top of the line of everything.”

The building built in the late 1800’s is receiving a facelift by Global Integrity Investments, after hundreds of years of wear and tear.
