Doug Emhoff’s Reaction to Kamala Harris at DNC Goes Viral [Video]

Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff‘s reaction to his wife, Vice President Kamala Harris coming on stage at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) went viral on social media.

Harris was expected to attend the DNC on Monday for President Joe Biden‘s speech, but she surprised everyone by showing up on stage to give brief remarks to attendees. Harris is expected to formally accept the nomination in a speech on Thursday, after winning enough delegates to become the nominee.

After a promotional video advocating for Harris’ ability to fight for the country, she suddenly walked out on stage. Cameras cut to her husband, who was sitting with Governor Tim Walz, her vice presidential candidate, and the two men looked shocked to see Harris. Both men were smiling and clapped along with the rest of the DNC attendees.

Emhoff also appeared to say, “I didn’t know,” in regards to his wife’s appearance.
