Sea Isle City fire: Crews battle blaze at Casa Taco on Park Road in Fish Alley [Video]

SEA ISLE CITY, New Jersey (WPVI) — Crews in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, battled a large fire in the town’s Fish Alley section.

The call came in around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday for flames showing from the Casa Taco restaurant, which is located on the 4200 block of Park Road.

The property also contains other businesses, though the extent of the damage remains unclear.

Videos captured on social media show the flames consuming parts of the property.

“It was bedlam. The smoke was just billowing out of here. It was just real thick,” said Mike Monichetti, who owns the popular Mike’s Seafood near the scene of the fire.

“The building is at least 80 years old, and the timbers were fired up there… It just took off once it started,” Monichetti added.

There have been no reports of any injuries.
