Huntsville’s Shagnasty’s has served its final meal [Video]

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Shagnasty’s Grubbery and Pour House announced on Monday its immediate and permanent closure.

The pub on Jordan Lane was known as a venue for small-scale rock concerts while also serving as a steakhouse and bar. 

In a post to social media Monday afternoon, the operators said “the Shag” would shut down “effective immediately.” A liquidation sale is set for 10 a.m. on Saturday.

“We have decided to go in a different direction. The bar business takes up to (sic) much of our time. It was good run!” the operators said. “Proud of what we have done in 7 years and unfortunately our priorities have changed.  We wish everyone the best and hope the memories we shared live on!”
