LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Garner Industries will soon move to a new location in northeast Lincoln following the City Council’s approval during their meeting on Monday.
Lincoln City Council members gathered to discuss a variety of topics — including whether to approve Garner Industries’ movement to another part of the city.
The council unanimously approved to allow Garner Industries to use space north of Superior Street and around 33rd and 35th streets.
Garner Industries CEO and President Scott McLean said the business has since moved between two sites in Lincoln. The business leased a facility along Schworer Drive where it will cover machining and assembly for BinMaster. The facility will largely manufacture level sensors.
The company also leased space at the Nebraska Innovation Campus above The Mill where it handles corporate operations. McLean said the company signed five-year leases at both sites.
