The Prince of Wales has been caught on camera zooming into Windsor Castle on an e-scooter.

Footage shared on social media by Ashley Xue shows William riding up to an entrance at royal residence on Thursday 4 July.

The short clip has been viewed more than 400,000 times in less than 24 hours.

Last year, it was reported that the royal had invested in the scooter to travel to and from the castle from his family home, Adelaide Cottage, which is on the estate.

“It just makes sense. He whizzes up to the castle when he needs to see the King,” a source said.
