A popular restaurant in downtown Burlington could be closing its doors soon.A social media post has been circulating this week stating that since Manhattan Pizza & Pub had new ownership take over, the business has been failing.Since 1993, Manhattan Pizza & Pub has been located right in the heart of downtown Burlington on the corner of Church and Main Street.It’s often been a destination for locals to sing karaoke, watch a major sports game, or just grab a late-night snack.Burlington resident Mark Bouchett has decades’ worth of memories at the popular bar.“I’ve been there many times and watched bands play there and had a slice and a beer,” Bouchett said. “It’s a great staple for this community.”The social media statement shares that a majority of Manhattan’s staff have initiated a boycott, citing poor treatment since new owner David Quintana took over earlier this year.It also claims that Quintana informed employees …
