WASHINGTON D.C., DC — Four East Texas schools were among over 350 campuses named a part of the 2024 cohort of National Blue Ribbon Schools.
These campuses were recognized for exceling in academic performance or making significant strides in closing achievement gaps among different student groups, according to an announcement from the U.S. Department of Education.
Campuses that received the honor locally include:
- Hudson Elementary School, Longview ISD.
- Neches High School, Neches ISD in Palestine
- Caldwell Arts Academy, Tyler ISD
- Gus Winston Cain Elementary School, Whitehouse ISD
