1,001 Wishes: Syrian hopes for the country’s economic development [Video]

As 2024 draws to a close, CGTN has launched a global social media campaign: “1,001 Wishes for 2025 #Hello2025.” The campaign invites participants to share their wishes for 2025 and is available in 81 languages.

Hamza Abbas from Syria hopes to return to university in the New Year to continue his studies, which were interrupted 14 years ago. He also envisions Syria becoming a key hub in the Middle East, developing its economy, and serving as a key economic link between Europe and the Gulf countries.
